I know I said I was stopping at the 151, but honestly, I've missed it a bit, so today I'm sharing a new Pokémon Zoology entry! 📝
Today I'm sharing my observations after babysitting my neighbor's Togepi! This rare opportunity allowed me to study this baby Pokémon up close.
Did you know that Togepi's shell is actually warm to the touch? And despite looking rubbery from a distance, its skin is covered in the softest peach fuzz, with a scent reminiscent of a human baby's head.
I was particularly fascinated to discover it uses telekinetic abilities to eat (raspberries being its favorite), a clever adaptation considering how the shell limits its arm movement.
The cracks in a Togepi's shell can indicate its age - the more worn the edges, the older the Pokémon. This little one still had relatively sharp edges with just a few cracks from its adorable habit of bumping into furniture!
Sometimes even a Pokémon Zoologist needs to admit when scientific objectivity gives way to simple joy. Further observation required... purely for academic purposes, of course.
