We arrived in China, we drove 2 hours to the home of the Tong family. They are one of the last families in existence still handing down information on the care and breeding of Asian Dragons.
Asian Dragons have been on the brink of extinction for the last 500 years, with only a handful of people from across China with the expertise to care for them. Their diets and breeding rituals are incredibly complex with only one specimen ever having been held in captivity. Unfortunately, it passed away after only three months.
The Tong family care for a handful of the last dragons on their estate and one of the rarest, ‘The East Asian Pearl Dragon’ was close to laying a new clutch after years of preparation.

Generally, they keep their distance from humans, living their extended lifespans in lakes, rivers, or mountainous regions.
Unlike their western cousins, Asian dragons do not have wings but have the ability to levitate via a form of primal telekinesis.
